What types of form fields are supported?

All standard AcroForm field types are supported: text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-down menus (combo boxes), and list boxes. The tool auto-detects every field in the uploaded PDF and presents them in a fill-in form before processing.

What does "Flatten after filling" do?

Flattening bakes all filled field values into the static page content layer, removing the interactive form fields entirely. The resulting PDF looks identical but is no longer editable — ideal for archiving, printing, or sharing a final version that cannot be modified.

Will the filled PDF still be editable after downloading?

By default, yes — the AcroForm fields remain interactive and can be edited again in any PDF reader. Enable "Flatten after filling" before processing if you want a non-editable, archived copy.

Does this work on password-protected PDF forms?

No. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first using the Unlock PDF tool before form fields can be read or filled.
